Our team contacts potential winners via email and when we’re able, we’ll follow up with a scheduled Skype call as well! Please note that contact will come directly from a member of our team and not from firstname.lastname@example.org. We don't contact the winners of Major and/or Minor prizes associated with sweepstakes or free draws operated on any of Omaze's websites through social media.
When applicable, we always reach out to potential winners to confirm their legal name before running a background check.
When a potential winner is contacted will vary with each sweepstakes experience. As per our Official Rules, we’ll use an automated random drawing process to draw a potential winner(s) for each experience within 10 business days after the experience closes. Once the random drawing process has been conducted, our team then completes the winner confirmation process as described in our Official Rules under the section entitled “How Do I Know If I Won?". These processes generally take around 10-14 business days but the exact length of time will vary by experience.
As soon as our team is able, we send out an email to all the entrants of each experience with the details of the winner! Winners are also posted on our Twitter feed, in our Instagram stories, and on our site here.
If you win an Omaze experience, a dedicated team makes sure your experience is unforgettable. We manage the travel and accommodations as well as coordinate with the talent partner (when applicable) so you can just focus on having the time of your life!
